The Key Automation RAY NLS swing gate motor kits are complete 24V automation solutions for swing gates with leaves up to 4 metres and 600kg per leaf, depending on variant. Built for frequent residential and shared-access use, the RAY range combines robust mechanics, controlled movement, and flexible lighting and control options.

All kits support the Night Light System (NLS) via the control board, with selected variants including the Eclipse integrated LED lighting for improved night-time visibility at the entrance.

Leaf length, weight, gate construction, and wind exposure all affect performance. Solid or wind-loaded gates may require stepping up to the next size or choosing the standard (non-fast) version to maintain smooth operation and long-term reliability.

ACS Team Insight

The RAY kits are very forgiving on well-built swing gates, but we often see issues caused by underestimating wind load on solid infill leaves. The FAST versions are excellent for reducing wait times, but they work best on lighter gates with good hinge geometry. Eclipse lighting is a nice touch for shared entrances, especially where external lighting isn’t already installed.
