Videx Mini-SA2 is a compact black ABS proximity reader that you can mount on surfaces. It’s tough, with an IP66 rating for outdoor use. It has one output for controlling things like doors, and a slot where you can connect a button to let people exit.

You can program up to 4000 cards or fobs to work with it, activating the output when they’re used. You can also decide how long the output stays active, from just 1 second to 250 seconds, or set it to stay on until you turn it off. To set it up, you just need a special card to add or remove users.
